The Blue Water Candy Mojo Rig is simple, with an oversized jig head wrapped with reverse synthetic hair attached to a gargantuan swing hook. We recommend you attach a shad body for extra action! Anglers in the Northeast have had amazing results for striped bass with Mojos. You fish these with braided line or mono. If you are going to fish braid, use a long mono leader as you will need the stretch. Blue Water Candy makes a variety of sizes, some that are meant for wire line trolling rods, and some big and heavy offerings that can easily be pulled on traditional monofilament or braided line setups. You can either jig your Mojo rig like you would a traditional parachute rig or simply pull it behind the boat and let the shad body create all the action.
