They are constructed of Daiwa's HGV Nanoplus Graphite that is really strong but delivers the perfect slow pitch action you are looking for. Daiwa has outfitted them with Fuji Titanium SiC Guides and Fuji Graphite R Seats with a trigger. The Saltiga Slow Pitch Rods are incredibly lightweight with the heaviest version weighing only 5 ozs! Daiwa is able to keep the weight down by using a 1 1/4" EVA foregrip and a split rear grip that is mostly rod blank. One of the coolest features of this series is that the H, XH and XXH it can handle a lot more weight. We're talking jigs up to 28 ozs when fishing the XXH!
