St Croix 2021 Mojo Inshore Spinning Rods have gotten a refresh! Over the years the Mojo has become one of St Croix's most popular series because you get a lot for your money. St Croix stepped the Mojo up to an SCIII carbon blank that is more sensitive than the previous generation. They changed the aluminum-oxide guides to Sea Guide Hero which are perfect for braided fishing lines. The grips have changed a bit as well. Some have cork fore and rear grips while others have a mix of cork and EVA in the butt section for more durability. These models also have a rubber gimbal, just in case you hook into something big or maybe you had one to many cocktails and your buddy made you wear the belt. The purple finish is gone, replaced with a really nice blue/green. What we love most about St Croix 2021 Mojo Inshore Spinning Rods is just that they have that St Croix feel to them. It's hard to explain to someone who has never handled one of these rods, but they have a really smooth action, are lightweight and can handle a lot of abuse in a pretty package.
